  • What is your monthly donation drive?

Impact Earth has partnered with local nonprofits to provide materials to those in our community with the greatest need. Each month we select a non-profit and inform our customers through email and our newsletter about the requested items for donation.

If you are a curbside customer you can request a pickup through the customer portal. Your donation will be scheduled on your compost pickup day in the second half of the month.

If you are a drop-off customer you can bring your donation to our Lifestyle Store- 1458 Monroe Ave in Brighton.

We then deliver all the collected items to the non-profit.

  • I didn’t get compost last year. I don’t know what went wrong?

We have an opt in system for our compost soil. Keep an eye out for an email in the early spring that provides instructions on how to sign up.

  • Where is your Eastview Mall store?

The Eastview Mall Store is closed and we have moved to 1458 Monroe Ave in Brighton.

  • I wish purchasing an extra bucket for curbside was an option.

A one-time extra bucket can be requested via the customer portal. There is a $10 charge for this service.

  • Is there an option to have a larger tote for emptying our buckets into and have it picked up less frequently? I often run out of space in the five gallon bucket.

We have a toter service available curbside. The smallest size is 32 gallons ($70 start-up fee), and it can be swapped bi-weekly for $15 a swap.

  • Are your bucket liners compostable?

Yes, our liners are made from plant-based materials making them compostable in our industrial composting system at the farm. We also sell a variety of compostable single-use bags and ‘ziplocks’ for home use here.

  • If I switch to a wash-less bucket system, can I be sure that the liner will not create less space in our bucket?

Our liners are very thin but also durable meaning cleaner buckets and the same amount of space.
