Who We Are

It all started…

In 2014, we knew that we wanted to make a difference in our community. Driven by environmental stewardship, we melded our backgrounds in sustainability, policy, community development, sales, and restaurant management into Impact Earth. In July 2014, we developed our very first zero waste service at an event in Ithaca, NY.

Fast forward to today, Impact Earth now serves the greater Rochester and Finger Lakes Region as the one stop shop for zero waste services and products.

Together, we can create our sustainable future.

Dr. Allison Rioux, Principal at French Road Elementary School

“Impact Earth has been a powerful force in moving forward our zero waste initiative in the Brighton Central School District, particularly at French Road Elementary School. Our 3rd-5th grade students have shown great initiative in learning about and empowering each other with the power of recycling and composting. The efforts of our students have increased immensely due to the support of Impact Earth employees and interns. Our students are regularly asking about where to throw out their waste and making more mindful choices before tossing something into the trash. As the building principal, I could not be more proud of our students and their reflection of the impact on our environment and their future!”

Scottie Phomvongsa, Owner of Rollin’ Deep Food Truck

“I love the team at Impact Earth! Their mission is a huge asset to our communities’ present and future.”

Justin Walker, President of the Top Gun Fighting Clams

“Impact Earth has taken action on a problem that everyone acknowledges, but no one has taken much initiative to fix. Sports tournaments generate a lot of waste, but before speaking with Robert at Impact Earth, no one had offered me a plan to do much about it. It was a great feeling driving away from an event knowing we collectively did what we did to reduce waste, and my club’s players and parents indicated they felt the same way. It would not have been possible without Impact Earth.”

Lucas Coolidge, Facilities Project Leader, Corning Tropel

“Impact Earth has a passionate, knowledgeable team and their energy for implementing cost effective, pragmatic solutions have provided insight and focus to our net zero to landfill initiative. We look forward to continuing to work with them on this journey.”
