We need your help

Changing a longtime culture of waste starts in our own communities.

Here at Impact Earth we know that, like evolution, changing habits and educating the public on how to create a sustainable Rochester takes time. With our commitment to zero waste the change is closer than we think!  Learn more about what it means to be a zero waste volunteer and see some of our past volunteers' reflections below!

Volunteering for Impact Earth this past summer at CMAC was a cool experience! Erika and I got to do two things we are passionate about – listen to incredible music while helping to take care of our planet. We were able to volunteer for 9 shows where we met some interesting people who wanted to start a conversation about the waste that is produced at venues like CMAC. Several concert-goers expressed to us that they were happy to see this kind of initiative being taken to divert stuff from landfills… And we had a BLAST! The work was light and the people were fun to be with!
